I am always looking for ways to dress my walls!  

I go and look for inspiration everywhere but little did I know it was right in front of me.

(sorry for the lighting..it's in the hallway)

 I decided to use my daughter's art!

She draws every day..it's her passion!  What better way to encourage than to display her work.

I found the cork "bark" background at a local store.

Every Home Needs One Of These

Good Morning!

I love to entertain.  Nothing makes me happier when my house is filled with people enjoying themselves and having a good time.

One of the things I truly believe is that every home should have a bar station or a bar (serving) cart.  I have been working with several clients that love to host and this really makes people feel welcome and want to stay awhile.

These are great even for those who don't like to drink.  You can serve tea or refreshing drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.  

The glistening of the glass bottles and some bite sized foods will cause people to relax and enjoy themselves.

Would you consider having one in your home?

It was 63 degrees here yesterday and today we practically have a blizzard.  What is seriously going on with this weather?

Need Storage?

Good Morning!

Storage.. we all need more of it!  Especially for those of us who have kids it seems like our homes can quickly get out of control.  (cough..yep, that's me)

I am on a kick to make my home more functional and not just focus on making it beautiful.  I wish I could be like those people who don't have a lot of stuff but I do and I need to manage it all.

 If you don't have enough cabinetry or closet space .. what about open shelving?

Btw..

Last night was so beautiful.  My husband and I stayed up real late burning off some limbs he took off the trees.  Bonfire and tea..simply awesome!
