It is Monday and I know that everyone on the east coast is so thankful that this weekend has passed. I am grateful because my sister, her husband, and our parents were in the path of the storm and they made it out unscathed. The people in their surrounding neighborhoods not so much. So, thanking God for their safety but still praying for everyone else who has been touched tragically by this.
I wanted to continue with our dining room. If you remember we put down hickory flooring and extended it from the family room into our dining space.

You can read more about it here and see the before dining room placement that I was trying out.
Needless to say the way I had my dining room furniture placed..we all didn't care for it so much.
So, I put it this way..
We are liking it this way so much better.
Here is the view from a different direction.
There is still more to do.. curtains and accessories. Wish me luck ; )
How lovely! I love deep, rich wood like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shannon. There is still so much more to do.
ReplyDeleteMy dining room was one of my favorite rooms to work on. I think it was the first room that really felt like me in my "design" (not considering myself a designer!). This looks great - can't wait to see what you continue to do. Your floors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jules! I would love to see your pics of your dining room..I will probably get inspired : ) I think everyone is a designer in their own way. I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteJust seeing your response to my comment now. Oh my. You are the sweetest.
